2023 Family Reunion -It's a Johnson Family Affair 8/4-6/2023

As we ventured to connect the branches of our beautiful family tree, we first recognize the grand patriarch, George Johnson, featured at the top of the home page. George Johnson is the family member we've been able to trace back the furthest. The one who we credit with starting our Johnson family lineage.  George Johnson was born March 1826 in Virginia. He was married to Mary Johnson. From their blessed union nine children were born: Thomas Johnson, Malinda Johnson, Nelly Johnson, Elizabeth Johnson, Jim Johnson, Dora Johnson, I.D. Johnson, Ann Johnson and Ada Johnson.

The 2023 Family Reunion was dedicated to Fred Johnson and the amazing Matriarchs, we affectionately call The Mamas.  

Fred is the son of Jim and Amye Johnson. As mentioned above, Jim was one of George Johnson's nine identified children. Fred Johnson was born June 7th, 1895, in Mississippi. He transitioned in September of 1979.
